Hot Lunches Planned At Center

The Payson Senior Center, 514 W. Main St., serves a hot meal at noon weekdays. No membership is required. Cost of the meal is $3 for persons 60 and older, $5 for those younger than 60. Meals also can be delivered to homebound individuals. Reservations must be made one day in advance. For reservations, call (928) 474-4876. The menu for October is as follows:

Oct. 15: Cube steak with grilled onions, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, green bean casserole, wheat roll, milk, birthday cake

Oct. 16: Chicken teriyaki, brown rice, mixed veggies, broccoli salad, wheat roll, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 17: Beef tips over noodles, salad with tomatoes, corn/lima beans, seven-grain roll, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 20: Sweet and Sour pork over rice, stir fry veggies, egg roll, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 21: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, carrot raisin salad, wheat bread, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 22: Barbecued chicken, macaroni and cheese, mixed veggies, seven-grain roll, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 23: Stew bowl, potatoes, carrots, celery in stew, cottage cheese, biscuit, milk

Oct. 24: Baked fish with dill, baked potato tots, ranch beans, corn bread, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 27: Cream of potato soup with ham and onion, tossed salad, peas, wheat crackers, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 28: Pork roast, stuffing, sweet potatoes, zucchini and squash, fruit and dessert, milk

Oct. 29: Cheese ravioli, brussels sprouts, three-bean salad, oat bran dinner roll, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 30: Chicken-fried steak (baked), baked potatoes, spinach, wheat bread, fruit or dessert, milk

Oct. 31: Halloween, fried worms and eye balls (spaghetti and meatballs), glazed chicken fingers (carrots), baked troll toes (potatoes), tombstone toast, spooktacular dessert, goblin juice.
