The Payson Humane Society has received wonderful donations for the silent auction which will be part of their 12th Annual Chili Supper.
Thanks to the generosity of local and some not-so-local businesses, there are great items to bid on. These include loads of gravel, antique items, a Blue Tooth, toys, jewelry, autographed books, Payson and Valley shopping sprees, savings bonds, floral arrangements, certificates for veterinary services, a scenic flight and beautiful themed gift baskets loaded with wonderful goodies. Tickets are now available for the event. The date is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Payson Elks Lodge, 1206 N. Beeline Highway.
The cost of the tickets for this fun event, which benefits the homeless animals of Rim Country, is $7 for adults and $4 for kids under 12 years of age. They are available at the Payson Public Library and the Payson Humane Society Animal Shelter at 812 S. McLane Road. They are also available at the door the night of the supper.
Along with the silent auction, there will be raffles and the sale of the second annual “Pets of Rim Country” 2009 calendar.
