Editor:
I am writing this letter as a supporter of Debbie Tapia-Blair. She is running for county school superintendent.
Recently, I posted a sign in my yard in support of Mrs. Blair, which is still there. I posted several others around town amongst other signs for various candidates. My cousin from Globe hung more than 30 signs in and around Payson, including two huge banners entering and exiting Payson. They are all gone. They have been taken down.
I do not know who took all these signs down, but it is hard to help a candidate have a fair election where this kind of activity takes place.
Mrs. Blair is a native Arizonan. She is a master’s level educator with 24 years of experience. She wants to have fair and equitable funding across all Gila County schools.
Mrs. Blair is a determined leader who wants to provide honest leadership that fosters a “teamwork environment.”
She has many other qualities that would make her a perfect choice for this position.
Please consider Mrs. Blair, even though there are no longer any signs showing her candidacy.
