Payson's five entries in the Central Arizona Youth Football Association (CAYFA) make their home debut tomorrow, Sept. 13, at Longhorn field.
Games will be played at 8 a.m. (Bears), 10 a.m. (Minor Raiders), noon (Wildcats), 2 p.m. (Redskins), and 4 p.m. (Major Raiders).
All five of the teams kicked off the 2008 season Sept. 6 in Prescott.
In those openers, the Bears, Minor Raiders, Redskins and Major Raiders emerged victorious.
If some of the team names sound unfamiliar to youth football fans, it's because several of the squads underwent name changes this summer.
In the mighty mite division, the former Raiders team is now known as the Redskins. In the minor division, the Wildcats replace the former Broncos.
Also in the minor division, the former Bucs team has become the Raiders.
The Major Raiders and Bears retained their team names.
The teams have been practicing since Aug. 4 in preparation for the season, which culminates in late October with championship playoffs.
