Dan Haapala is an Independent candidate for District 1 Gila County Supervisor, yet he does not own any property in Gila County.
Now, I realize this is perfectly legal, but do we really want someone who is not a property owner making decisions on our taxes and other matters which impact county funds?
I urge all voters, regardless of party preference, to vote for Tommie Martin, who has a longtime vested interest in our county.

Do we really want a mayor that doesn't own property in Payson or Gila County? Who is he looking out for? No one said any thing about that during his campaign.
