It’S A Gorgeous Time In Christopher Creek

It is almost October and the leaves are starting to change colors. The elk are carrying on in the forest and it is getting really cold at night. The days are beautiful and it is a gorgeous time to come up and enjoy the fall weather here in Christopher Creek.

When driving up this way be careful of the wildlife on the roads at dusk and dawn.

Because it is getting colder, everyone is using their fireplaces. Now would be a good time to clean them. You can buy a special log to burn in your fireplace that cleans it. And don’t forget to check your smoke detectors.

Birthdays

Friday, Oct. 1 Rita Quay will add another candle to her cake. Rita is well known around the community for giving piano lessons. No one knows more about the piano than Rita.

Mimi Tidwell will celebrate her birthday on Oct 3, as will Rod Britain. The two of them have had dinner at Creekside for many years to celebrate their birthdays.

Wishing all of you a happy birthday!
