The Gila County Division of Health and Community Services will be having adult flu clinics this year starting Oct. 1.
The cost of the vaccine will be $30 for adults who do not have Medicare Part B. If you have Medicare Part B and no supplement insurance, bring your Medicare Part B card and Medicare will be billed.
Flu vaccines for children are unavailable at this time.
If you are homebound and need to have a nurse come to your home, call (928) 474-1210 in Northern Gila County to schedule an appointment. There will be no set day for flu clinics in Globe/Miami or Payson.
Starting Oct. 1, adult flu vaccines will be available on a walk-in basis at the Gila County Offices of Health in Payson and in Globe’s Central Heights from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Call for nurse availability to be certain.
