The title of the guest comment was incredulous: “President’s budget demonizes the wealthy”! Does anyone, including Sen. Jon Kyl, really believe the wealthy are overtaxed? Senator, please come into the real world.

Every year when the reports are out about how much the fat cats pay in taxes, usually less than I pay, I am angered, as is pretty much every working man and woman I know. The rich may pay 40 percent in taxes but they have more loopholes than a pound of Swiss cheese ... plus all the perks ... expense accounts, company cars, health insurance paid 100 percent, for starters. A lot like a U.S. Senator or Congressman.

Please don’t cry the blues to people in Payson about the poor overtaxed rich.
