I’ve been working on a book about the Ellison Ranch, east of Pleasant Valley. If anyone has any historical information about the Q Ranch, I would appreciate hearing from them.
Families coming with Ellison were Moores, Haughts, Chamberlains, Ezells, Bulls, Shells, Reynolds, McMurrys, and others. Maybe some of their descendants still live in the Payson area.
Many thanks, I am a former resident of both Globe and Camp Verde. Camped out with Cibicue Slim Glenn Reynolds Ellison for years.
