Daughters of Pioneers offer scholarship

The Daughters of Gila County Pioneers will offer a scholarship to a female student who graduates from a high school in Gila County this spring.

In order to encourage and help members of the pioneering families of Gila County who had an ancestor living in Gila County prior to statehood, Feb. 14, 1912, the Daughters offer this scholarship, as they have done for the past 17 years.

Information on the scholarship is available at each high school in Gila County.

For more information, call Patty Rhoades at (928) 474-2286.
