Years teaching: 10 years.
Why do you teach? I enjoy watching it come together for the students. There are actually times when you can see the “light bulb turn on.” I have a passion for nursing and I want to share that with others.
Personal motto / words of wisdom: Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Family: Five adult children and six fabulous grandchildren.
Pet peeve: People who say they can’t. Once a student has the mindset that they cannot, then they won’t.
Favorite hobby or leisure activity: Hiking and being outdoors, sewing and quilting, and reading.
Person in history you’d most like to meet and why: Florence Nightingale, my role model.
Why Payson? It is a beautiful, rural community!
In school, who was your favorite teacher and why? Jody Glittenberg, because I want to grow up to be just like her.
What was your favorite subject in school and why? Science, because I’m a nerd.
