Congressional Delegation Should Get Money For Forest

I wish that Arizona’s Congressional delegation had acted to get a component in the economic stimulus package that would at least begin the elimination of the massively overgrown situation that characterizes Arizona’s national forests and creates such a great potential for very large and extremely destructive forest fires.

It would seem to be a program that would be labor intensive, could get under way rather quickly and would have a good cost-benefit ratio measured against future firefighting and property destruction costs, not to mention the immeasurable costs in terms of human misery and despair that would be avoided.
