Blogging Seminar Feb. 21


Learn how blogging can help writers, artists and small business owners boost their business in a cost-effective way at a seminar featuring Dave Barnhart, a Blog Strategy Consultant from Phoenix. Sponsored by Arizona Press Women, the event is set for Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the community room of the Payson Public Library, 328 N. McLane Road.

Open to the public, the seminar includes a light lunch and demonstrations of how blogs work. Reservations are required by Feb. 17 for the early bird rate of $25; cost will be $30 at the door, space permitting. Barnhart, president of Business Blogging Pros, helps entrepreneurs and business owners get their blogs started. He believes that blogging is the most cost-effective way for boosting your business image, exposure and revenue. This expert also will show how a blog can be used as a simple, inexpensive web site. Local bloggers will share their experiences and advice during the program.

Arizona Press Women is a nonprofit organization that presents educational programs to help writers and others in the communication field.
