Supervisor Tammy Miotto of Payson Safeway has been named a community hero by Safeway.

This company-wide program was created to recognize those Safeway employees who have made exceptional contributions to their community in 2008.

Out of 10,000 Safeway employees in the state of Arizona, Miotto is one of seven employees statewide that received the award.
