Need money for teaching? Salt River Project is offering up to $175,000 in grants for math, science, technology and social studies lessons.
Learning Grants provide funding of up to $5,000 per school for innovative math and science projects and programs, which meet state standards.
Social Studies Grants can provide up to $2,000 per teacher for history, geography, civics, government and economics enrichment that meets state standards.
Powering Our Future Mini-Grants are available to fourth- through 12th-grade teachers who participate in the SRP Powering Our Future program, a renewable energy education program available for free to Arizona students and educators.
SRP will accept applications for 2009-10 grants until March 31.
