Want to laugh off the winter blues?

Then make plans to attend the Lip Sync Contest Feb. 21 in the Payson High School Auditorium.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. There will be 10 acts competing, plus noncompetitive acts as well.

Prizes for the contestants will be gift cards totaling $500 for first place, $300 for second place and $200 for third place.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. The ticket stubs will be entered in a special drawing for two tickets to a Rascal Flatts/Jessica Simpson concert, donated by KMOG.

The evening will also include a 50-50 raffle and a silent auction featuring a wide variety of more than three dozen items for all ages.

Donations of auctions items or scholarship donations are now being sought.

The event is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, Payson High School Drama Club, Rim Country Optimists and Rotary Club. All proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for continuing education.
