Two local teams of 12 runners will compete in the 200-mile Ragnar Relay this weekend against more than 200 national teams. Up for grabs are the bragging rights to the Rim Country for the local teams.

- Payson Police Records Clerk Jill Van Camp had only had her box of Thin Mints for a few minutes and mysteriously, half the box was already gone. Similar strange occurrences of cookie disappearances were reported all over the police department Friday shortly after a group of Daisies delivered boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

- Mr. Haney (Chair, PSWID) and Mr. Jackson (CEO, Economist.com) refer to the “inflammatory language, name-calling, blatantly false and baseless allegations” which they claim Mr. Schwalm directed at the recent Economists. com analysis and report for purchasing the two water companies of Pine and Strawberry (Payson Roundup, Feb. 17). As a full-time resident tax/rate payer of this district who reads all of the news reports related to this subject, and was involved as a member of the former board, I must say that Haney and Jackson have it turned around. They are the ones directing inflamed name-calling and accusations against Mr. Schwalm.
