Authorities are searing for a 29-year-old Scottsdale man that was last seen at the Jakes Corner Store Wednesday morning and may be four wheeling in the Four Peaks area.
Jason William Witherill stopped at the corner store to purchase grocery items and a Tonto National Forest pass Feb. 25, he has not been seen since.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office says Witherill may be four wheeling in a 1979 Chevy Blazer that is primer black with a white fiberglass top with Arizona plate 907XDJ in the Four Peaks area or on the east side of Roosevelt Lake.
Witherill is 6 feet 2 inches tall and 200 lbs. He has the tattoo “outlaw” between his shoulders and blue flames on his wrists.
Ground crews as well as the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s ranger helicopter are checking the area.
Anyone with information on Witherill can call the Gila County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 474-2208 or (866) 866-4452.
