Business owners looking for a financial edge for 2009 are invited to a special workshop Jan. 6 — Guerrilla Tactics: Financial Operations.
Business finance (underground operations) will be addressed by speakers from five financial institutions. They will talk about the various financial options available for businesses and money saving tips.
The speakers are Derek Shreiner, National Bank of Arizona; Elisa Piercey, Chase Bank; John Schreur, Wells Fargo; Mike Whalen, Compass Bank; and Julia Thompson, Arizona State Credit Union.
“The goal is to provide information, on a general basis, to Rim Country businesses — both profit and not for profit — to help them survive and prosper in tough economic times,” said John Stanton, executive director of the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The program is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6 in the community room (303) at Gila Community College.
Refreshments, courtesy of sponsor KMOG, will be served at 5:30 p.m. Also sponsoring the program are the Town of Payson, Payson Regional Economic Development Corporation, the chamber and the Payson Roundup.
Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended, though not required. Call (928) 474-4515 for more information.
