After three years of business, Colorz Salon has moved to a new, larger location on Highway 260.

The salon used to be in the Bashas’ shopping center but moved into the Tiny’s Restaurant plaza for more space. Owner Cheryl Chance said with the new space she has room for two additional stylists and a nail technician.

Chance said the salon offers haircuts, perms, event styling and uses the latest hair coloring techniques. A detox footbath is available, along with waxing, spa pedicure and nail services.

“We currently have one nail technician with 2.5 years of experience and certified with Creative Gel nails,” Chance said. “All of the hair stylists have more than 14 years of experience and special training in cutting techniques, perms and coloring.”

Chance started her career as a hair stylist in 1987 when she worked for a hair color company.

After getting her elementary education degree, Chance returned to Payson, where she grew up, and taught at Pine and Payson elementary schools.

After several years, she decided to return to hair and opened Colorz.

Chance said the salon is now in a great location.

“Our business is unique and special because we take time to give our clients special attention and listen to meet their needs,” Chance said.

“Our salon has a unique, modern design and cleanliness is a high priority.”

The salon is looking for two stylists and a nail technician to move into the new stations.

Colorz Salon is located at 600 E. Highway 260, Suite 6. Call (928) 468-6466 to make an appointment.
