Why teach? My high school band director got me into it. It was a blast. I decided then that this is the life for me.

Favorite hobby or leisure activity: I like working on my car. I have a ’66 Mustang.

Person in history you’d most like to meet and why? I was always interested in meeting Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Why Payson? We just really like it. It reminds me of home in Albuquerque. The Rim, the pine trees, the people, the climate…

Favorite teacher? My band director. I tried to be like him because he would teach us to play but he was also teaching us about life.

Favorite subject in school and why? Music was my favorite but I also really enjoyed my chemistry class.

Favorite year in school and why? Eighth grade. I was feeling really good. It was my second year in this town we lived in. It was my second year on the football team. My second year on band…
