The search is still on for a 51-year-old Forest Lakes man who has been missing for four weeks. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information on Mark Russell Irby.
Irby was last seen at his Forest Lakes area home at 10 a.m. on Jan. 2 before he set off for a ride on his red ATV through the area. He never returned home and, after searching 1,800 hours by foot and 20 hours by air, investigators have found no tracks or clues to Irby’s whereabouts. Deputies assigned to the area continue to search for Irby, but ongoing efforts are limited, said Gerry Blair, of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office.
Irby is 5’10”, weighs 175 pounds, has brown hair and eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a denim shirt, blue jeans, “Croc” style plastic shoes and riding a red Bombardier ATV with Arizona license plate DV4X.
Irby’s family is asking anyone with information to contact the Coconino County Sheriff’s Department at (800) 338-7888 or (928) 774-4523 or contact the National Center for Missing Adults at (800) 690-3463.
A $5,000 reward is offered for any information leading to the recovery of both Irby and his ATV. Irby’s brother, Jim, has set up an account at Wells Fargo, under the Jim Irby Search Fund for search donations.
