Editor:
Two articles in your June 23, issue bring out the probable fact that I’m glad that I shall not be here late in this century. One article, warm globally, act locally, reviews the warming trend with less precipitation (fewer water holes in the East Verde, less, if any water in the Blue Ridge and other reservoirs, fewer crops).
And yet in the article, growth will link Rim and Valley mentions a projection of 100 million people down in the Valley. What is going to happen for the demand and use on the little available water? I hope for the sake of the newborn that the projections and scientific reports are all wrong.
