SR 87 Safety Improvements Payson to Pine

Bradshaw Drive Closed July 20

Bradshaw Drive will be closed on July 20 allowing crews to begin construction. The construction on Bradshaw Drive is in conjunction with safety improvements at the intersection of SR 87 and Bradshaw Drive. A clearly marked detour will direct motorists to Old Country Road just north of Bradshaw Drive for access to business and residential properties. Bradshaw Drive is part of the construction zone, do not travel beyond barricades and do not follow trucks into the work zone.

Removal of Timber and Excavation Continues in Segment 1

Crews will continue logging and removal of timber in Segment 1 of the project. Segment 1 of construction is near Pine between milepost 254.62 and milepost 255.94. Excavation and grubbing of stumps as well as removal of debris will continue through the week. Please be aware of machinery and trucks accessing the roadway throughout the project. Although there are no lane closures or restrictions scheduled for the week of July 13 at this time, drivers are asked to use extra caution and anticipate brief delays through the work zone.

Construction from Payson to Pine Segment 1 and Segment 2

ADOT continues work on a project to improve SR 87 between Payson and Pine. Crews will be working on two separate segments of SR 87. Segment 1 includes work from milepost 254.62 to milepost 255.94. Segment 2 includes work from milepost 265.61 to milepost 266.69. In addition to Segment 1 and 2 construction, ADOT will be replacing and installing new right-of-way fencing throughout the Payson to Pine corridor.
