Gila college now registering for all classes

Want to enhance your life with conversational Italian or basic Spanish? Interested in learning the dance exercise phenomenon Zumba®, maybe take lessons in basic guitar or improve your digital photography skills?
Perhaps you want to investigate a career in health care or fire science or some other new life pursuit.
Get a catalog for the fall term at the Payson campus of Gila Community College and see what is offered.
Registration for the 2009-2010 term is taking place now and concludes Sept. 2. Classes start Aug. 24. The art programs at Payson GCC are the most popular, according to officials. There will be 30 different art classes offered for the fall term, including beginning digital photography and scrapbooking to drawing and painting in different mediums, ceramics and jewelry making.
Computer classes are also well attended and include everything from computers for beginners to Web site development.
There are classes for those interested in going into education as a profession and an extensive curriculum for aspiring health care professionals. The Payson college also has the courses needed to get an associate of arts degree.
Tuition ranges from $65 for a single credit hour to $760 for 12 or more credit hours, according to the Fall 2009 Class Schedule.
