Divers recovered the body of a 35-year-old Payson man from a Texas lake Monday morning.
Daniel Robert Parker was out with friends on a boat in Lake Alan Henry Sunday when he fell off the boat around 8 p.m., authorities said.
Friends called authorities to report Parker missing and on Monday morning, the Lubbock Fire Department’s dive team located Parker’s body in 38 feet of water.
Lake Alan Henry is situated 65 miles southeast of Lubbock in the south fork of the Brazos River. With 56 miles of shoreline, the reservoir was built by the city of Lubbock as a recreational area for boating and fishing.
