Just who are the Payson wannabes? Payson wannabes are people who reside in and around the Payson area who simply want to be able to …
Know that their livelihood is secure and their wages are enough to enable them to provide food clothing and shelter for their families and loved ones comfortably and as needed.
Feel unoppressed by excessive taxes and fees to the point of anger and paranoia and fear.
Enjoy a feeling of safety and security in their homes and on the streets of Payson due to the fact that services that should be adequately provided, are.
Be treated with respect and courtesy by persons in authoritative positions.
Have a feeling of pride in their community and not have to endure mistreatment because of it.
Know that the local economy will be able to provide gainful and rewarding employment for their offspring.
See someday that worthwhile and well-planned functions will be conducted in such a manner that will again attract participants who will be able to observe and enjoy what could be and hopefully will be, a well-run and organized entity which tourists and residents alike will again be able to relax and enjoy themselves in.

Realize that small businesses must be allowed to prosper and that the tax base must not be forced to dwindle due to excesses.
Realize that some efforts would produce results that would achieve political, social and fiscal situations which could be accomplished by community direction toward some needed changes.
