There will be a tournament-style Scrabble game at Fireside Espresso starting at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 6. The deadline to register is June 3.
Entry forms and rules are available at the Payson Public Library and Fireside Espresso.
Pickup your paperwork and gather a few sponsors. There is a minimum $30 fee to enter (but find lots of “sponsors” to raise even more money for the library).
There will be two winners, the person who raises the most money, and the person with the highest score. Prizes will include gift certificates from your favorite local businesses (each prize will total $100 worth of gift certificates).
To sweeten the pot, Fireside will donate a portion of its proceeds during the tournament to the library fund, so bring in all of your family and friends to cheer you on.
