Editor:
Thank you to each person who made this year’s National Day of Prayer a success here in Rim Country. Thanks first go to Mary Wolf and Nelson Beck for their extra support and encouragement in arranging the event at Rumsey Park, along with the Payson Roundup and KMOG for their announcements.
Special thanks also go to each of the following people: Pastor Hauptman of Crossroads Foursquare Church; Nancy Lombardi and Simone Lake for organizing very special events in Pine; Willis and Beth Creighton for arranging a wonderful new event at Mountain Bible Church; for the outstanding efforts of Steve Stevens, Jim Norman and Lud Kaftan at Rumsey Park, along with the Payson Community Christian School musicians, led by Angela Godac, plus the pray-ers — Teresa Purtee, Roscoe Dabney, Tom Gossett, Gordon Hauptman, Joe Hittle, Beverly LaBonte, Rich Richey and Kelly Wooldridge; and also Pastor Rich Richey plus others for the success of the evening event at Payson’s First Church of the Nazarene.
Thanks also go to Payson Mayor Kenny Evans, Star Valley Mayor William Rappaport and the Gila County Board of Supervisors for their proclamations for the National Day of Prayer. Extra thanks also go to each of the many others who had prayers of agreement at the events and the 300 people who attended. Most of all, praise and thanks go to our Almighty God, in Jesus’ name, for His rich blessings as we attempted to honor Him. To Him goes the glory! May He continue to bless our community and nation as we cry out to Him.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
