This past week has been very hectic for the Snyder household. My husband, Bill, gave me and my family a bad scare when he had a severe warning regarding his heart. He was well taken care of by the personnel at the Arizona Heart Institute and the Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix.
It turned out that he had a 70-percent blockage in back of his heart; the doctors inserted a stent the day after he arrived at the hospital. He is recovering slow but sure, and he is anxious to get back to remodeling our cabin. Bill thanks everyone at the Heart Institute and all the personnel at the Heart Hospital. He was satisfied with the care he was given.
Hellsgate Fire Department
Friday afternoon the fire trucks were called out to the intersection of Highway 260 and the Control Road for a minor fender bender. No one involved was injured.
Two of the firefighters from station #22, Trina Houdek and George Karrys, took the wildland training this past weekend and passed. They are now certified to fight wildland fires. Congratulations to you both; the Village is proud of you both.
Tonto Village Domestic Water Improvement District

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
