The Military Officers Association of America presented Payson Roundup publisher John Naughton with a certificate of appreciation Saturday. The Arizona Council of Chapters and President Vern J. Pall thanked Naughton for his interest and support of retired military personnel in the community. Thanks to his support, MOAA has grown and thrived. Pall said Naughton honors those who served our country and fought to preserve the freedoms we enjoy, one of which is freedom of the press.
