Payson student graduates Smith College

Tina Jackson
2005 Payson High School graduate Tina Jackson graduated May 17 from Smith College in Northampton, Mass. with a bachelor’s degree in Italian studies and a minor in chemistry.
Smith College is one of the largest women’s colleges in the United States, enrolling 2,800 students from nearly every state and 62 other countries. Jackson will pursue a master’s degree in public health beginning in July 2009 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., prior to applying to medical school.
She is the daughter of Diane Jackson and the late Carl Jackson of Payson.
