The Christopher/Kohl’s Fire Department has started to staff EMT/firefighters 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Which makes it great for us.
They have also added one paramedic to the staff. Giving them two additional life support personnel.
They made this move so the district would have better coverage for both fire and medical calls 24 hours a day. They have received brand new self-contained apparatus for their firefighters. This state-of-the-art equipment will ensure our firefighters’ safety and give them added time on the fire ground.
Dionne May, who is the administrative assistant, is currently enrolled in EMT training. Christopher/Kohl’s Fire Department is continually training and upgrading its equipment so that department personnel can better serve this district.
