Karen’s Kare Bears receives business success award

After being established for only a few months, Karen’s Kare Bears is one of 14 small businesses that received a Success Award for 2009, said Ron Nielsen of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Gila Community College.
Every year, the Arizona SBDC honors small businesses for their large role in Arizona’s economy with the Success Awards.
These entrepreneurs create jobs and tax revenue that stay within our state and local communities, benefiting Arizonans.
Karen’s Kare Bears is a Christian child care center, owned and operated by Karen and Don Lloyd of Payson.
The business was officially opened on Jan. 19 and cares for children from newborn to 12 years old.
The Lloyds will be receive their award on Wednesday, March 25 at the Arizona state capitol.
