Next week is St. Patrick’s Day and to my Irish friend Dr. Jeff Ronn who used to throw the best St. Patrick’s party, here is one of my favorite Irish sayings.

May those that love us love us and those that don’t love us, May God turn their hearts. And if he doesn’t turn their hearts, May he turn their ankles, So we’ll know them by their limp. They used to say everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, so to all you Irish and wannabe Irish, Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

Ladies, don’t forget this Friday, March 13 is the annual Ladies Pajama Party. It is at Karen Thornton’s house on Columbine Road.

If you have never attended one of the parties it’s simple, just wear your favorite pajamas and your favorite slippers and head to Karen’s place at 6 p.m. for an evening of good food and fun. Bring along your favorite appetizers and your favorite beverage.

After eating and taking pictures they will head to Creekside for some more fun and a lot of funny looks from the customers who are there having dinner. It’s always fun to go inside and see what the people dining there think of us dressed in our pj’s. Over the many years we have been doing this, many of the ladies eating there wished they could have attended this fun time. It is always a fun time and you don’t want to miss out on this. News is out that this year Sam Conklin, Doris Billings and Sally Tharp will be on hand for all the fun. If you have missed these gals, show up and have some fun with them.

The next fun event is the annual Easter egg hunt for the kids. The Christopher Creek Homeowners Association sponsors this event and it is held at the top of uphill drive. It is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m. The Easter bunny will be hiding more than 400 eggs for the kids to find. For more information, call Judy Toole at (928) 478-0508.

Barbara Wheeler will be adding another candle to her cake March 15, Chief Electra VanEckhoutte of the Christopher/Kohl’s Fire Department will be celebrating on March 19, and Duane Hansel, Christopher Creek’s best plumber will be adding another candle to his cake March 20. Wishing all of you a happy birthday.
