Fossil Creek Creamery wins award for goat cheese

Fossil Creek Creamery in Strawberry was honored by Edible Phoenix magazine for its artisan goat cheese.
Fossil Creek Creamery has been producing artisan cheeses and fudge from the milk of their herd of 35 goats raised on their ranch in Strawberry since 2004.
Edible Phoenix, an Arizona food magazine is dedicated to the advancement of locally produced foods.
Its readers from across the United States and Canada voted to give Fossil Creek Creamery the Local Hero Award for its artisan goat cheeses. The awards were announced at the Edible Communities annual meeting in Santa Fe, N.M. in January.
Fossil Creek Creamery is an Arizona state certified dairy farm and a member of Local First Arizona and Arizona Grown, both of which promote the use of Arizona products and services.
