Parks plans special classes

Fly-fishing classes
The Payson Flycasters will present a program on the art of fly-fishing in a two-class series on April 4 and April 11. Fly-fishing 101 on April 4 will cover classroom information on fly-fishing basics and history. Fly-fishing 102 on April 11 includes hands-on fishing techniques at Green Valley Lake.
The $10 per person fee covers registration for both or just one class, and participants will register and pay the day of class at the Payson Parks, Recreation and Tourism Office at 1000 W. Country Club Drive.

Dutch Oven cooking
Learn how to cook main dishes, apple pie and fresh bread from award-winning Dutch oven cooking instructors. Loaner ovens will be available. The program is planned for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18 at Ramada 4 in Rumsey Park. The cost is $30 and the deadline to register is April 9. Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
