Karen Benkert and her two daughters Michelle Paul and Aricka Johnson recently opened Frontier Therapeutics at 215 W. Frontier St. on March 15.
Frontier Therapeutics offers massage therapy customized to fit individual needs, specialized facials, body treatments, waxing and permanent makeup.
“It sounds like a spa, but we don’t offer hair or nail services,” Benkert said.
Benkert and Paul are trained massage therapists while Johnson is a trained esthetician.
The trio, along with help from family, have renovated the property on Frontier Street for the last two years.
“The building is located in the historic district of Payson,” Benkert said. “It was quite the project to clean up and remodel, but now the building is a must see to really appreciate it. It is a great place for my daughters and myself to work.”
Services are available by appointment only. For more information, call (928) 951-4851.

Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
