Upon reading the Roundup’s March 17 editorial regarding the smooth process of recent appointments, and I understand that was their intention, I’d like to clarify my position.
I believe I did not “work hard to defeat members of the current council” but rather campaigned for a seat on the council. I did not run against anyone, but rather for a position.
I respect your win (his election opponents) and appreciate all the long hours you have spent working for Payson. Thank you.
