Mae Morrison, 88, of Payson, died April 29, 2009 at Hospice Compassus.

Mrs. Morrison was born Dec. 22, 1920 in Detroit, Mich. to Albert and Mary Winters Mallett.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Morrison of Payson; daughter, Larraine; sons, Steve, Douglas, Barry and Terry; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Morrison moved to Payson in 1976 and was very active in the community. She was once voted Woman of the Year in Payson. She helped start a food distribution program in the late ’70s and did a lot of volunteer work in the community over the years. She will be missed by all who knew her.
