Hike starts at 8 a.m. from American Gulch Trailhead
Like to hike, but not sure where to go?
Join Parks and Recreation hiking instructors for a Payson Area Trails System (PATS) Group-Led Hike on the Houston Loop Trail Saturday, May 16 starting at 8 a.m.
Participants will meet at the American Gulch South Trailhead, which is 2.6 miles west of Highway 87 on Main Street (Doll Baby Ranch Road).
This hike is approximately 3 miles roundtrip and is moderately difficult, with periodic steep grades.
This is a free event to the public. Pre-registration is preferred, but participants can also register the day of the event. There are no facilities at the trailhead, so plan ahead.
