The events at the May 14, 2009 Cactus Series Women’s Rodeo will start at 6 p.m., not 7 p.m. as previously reported.
Gates at the Payson Event Center open at 5 p.m. and admission is a can of food for the Payson Senior Citizens Center.
The women will compete in the following events: tie-down calf roping, breakaway roping, team roping and barrel racing. An estimated 75 competitors will take part. The event should last about three hours, so bring a blanket.
