Spring Rodeo adds steer riding event

The Gary Hardt Memorial Spring Rodeo will have an added attraction at the Friday and Saturday night performances.
Steer riding for older children will be part of the action at the two, 7 p.m. performances. Competing on Friday night will be Wyatt Chapman, Colten Varga, Daniel Woolwine, Tyler Heskett, Kelton Turney and Will Rose. The competitors on Saturday night will be Tony Root, Stormy Chambers, Layne Chitwood, Wyatt Chapman, Ryan Wacker and Daniel Woolwine.
The steer riding event is sponsored by Chapman Auto Center.
In The Rim Review special Spring Rodeo edition, the date for the Main Event Rodeo Parade was incorrect. The date printed was May 17, the parade is actually at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 16, starting at Green Valley Park and going east on Main Street to Westerly.
