Editor:
Recently, I had the experience of observing the Payson Police Department, Gila County Search and Rescue, and the Department of Public Safety “Ranger” search helicopter, all work as a team to locate an endangered lost person. I was impressed.
If I am ever lost, (and my friends all know this is highly probable), I am relieved to know that highly skilled professionals will be looking for me. At least the ones that don’t know me very well ...
The fire and medical response teams in the area, I guess we all take for granted. We should not.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
