Gila Community College is offering “eBay as a Home-Based Business,” a six-week class designed to teach and practice the skills required to open and operate a successful home-based business using eBay and other Internet sites.
Students will learn where and how to find items to sell, how to write, photograph, create and upload listings, how to make and track sales, and how to make money from their own homes.
The instructor, Gayle Goodwin, has been an eBay member for more than 10 years and is an eBay Power Seller.
She has successfully sold everything from antique Italian gold jewelry to moose antler lamps to paperback books to buyers all over the world.
The class will meet Saturdays, May 30 through July 11 (excluding July 4), from 9 to 11:50 a.m.
