Screenwriting workshop is June 6

The Rim Country District of Arizona Press Women will present a screenwriting workshop Saturday, June 6.
The guest speaker will be Katherine Atwell Herbert, author of “Writing Scripts Hollywood Will Love,” “Selling Scripts to Hollywood,” and “The Perfect Screenplay, Writing It and Selling It.”
Herbert spent 10 years in the film industry in Los Angeles where she worked as a development director for a production company at MGM Television, as a script analyst for such companies as Viacom-Showtime, Fox, TNT, Light Storm and Multimedia. She’s completed several screenplays and episodes for “Trial By Jury,” “Murder She Wrote” and “Quantum Leap.” The program is at 9:30 a.m. at Gila Community College. The cost is $15 for APW members and the public, if registered by June 1, or $20 at the door. Call 978-5376 for information.
