Learn about Rim Country history and keep track of your time in 2010. The Daughters of Gila County Pioneers have published their 2010 calendar and have it available in time for the gift-giving season.
The theme of the new calendar is “Grandmothers & Grandchildren” and features a collection of photos from area pioneer families who still reside or have strong ties in Gila County.
Also featured in the 2010 calendar is the Daughters of Gila County Pioneers’ 2009 Woman of the Year Gloria Sanders Reeves, who was born in Payson — at a home on old Main Street — June 11, 1931. The calendar includes the story of Reeves’ life and multiple photos.
The calendar is $8. To learn about making a purchase or more information about the organization, call (928) 474-2949.
