Socialism kills incentive

Editor:
Let me see, since January the federal government has taken over the insurance companies, the banks, the mortgage companies and the car companies, and now the federal government is proposing to take over health care and the energy companies with cap and trade.
This government take over of our lives is exactly what our founding fathers fought against with the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War.
Government control of our lives is socialism and socialism kills the incentive of its citizens to be innovative, creative and entrepreneurial.
Let’s stop government control and restore freedom.
We are afraid to spend the money that keeps our economy going because we don’t know what the government is going to take over next.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
