Transparency Needed On Health Care Bill

This is why it’s so hard to understand.

It’s 10,000 pages and it takes 500 people with law degrees weeks to read it to their congressman. And in it are provisions for providing coverage to illegal aliens. And if this great public option is so good for America, why is it that the president, his family and all of Congress are exempt from it? Please explain it to me like I’m a 10-year-old.

Why would we fear socialized medicine? It is because of what the government has done to bankrupt Medicare and make it no longer feasible.

According to a “60 Minutes” piece, Medicare fraud, waste and abuse is nearly $80 billion a year and you want our government to manage a trillion dollar program.

Who is to blame, the insurance companies, trial lawyers, pharmaceutical companies or maybe the doctors?

I don’t know, but I do know one thing. You can’t get something for nothing without paying for it somewhere.

There are many ideas out there to help get the low income people health care. But it’s not free. Instead of rushing to destroy what’s left of this great nation, let’s get doctors, insurance companies, pharmaceutical manufactures and even attorneys around a table and discuss all of the options of what will work and what won’t work.

Oh wait, I think I’m having deja vu. Wasn’t somebody else gonna try this? That’s right, our great leader promised this in his campaign to get him elected.

Well, you can all see how transparent things are now. But you will need a locksmith to get on the other side of those locked doors and find out what’s really going on.
