The health care insurance solution is not rocket science. Simply establish the benefits of the congressional insurance plan as the “national standard” and then require insurers to provide that level of benefits.
Those with insurance can elect to stay with their current insurance program or switch to the national standard program. Then establish subsidies for those that cannot afford the premiums based on a sliding scale of income.
How simple is that?
